keep calm & get fit

Hi! I am Hailey and I am 15 years young and 5'6 feet tall. On this blog I welcome you to come along with me through my fitness/weight loss journey. I am trying to focus more on fitness though. Before starting this blog I was the typical lazy binge all day teenager. Now, I am trying to change those horrible habits into having a healthy lifestyle. Through this blog, I also hope to help inspire & motivate people to exercise more and become more healthy. Like pretty much everyone, I have a story. Read about it here.

about/faq

Hey everyone! My name is Hailey, I am 15 and I say I have the worst eating habits ever. I am extremely lazy and eat the junkiest food ever. No joke, my friends come to my house and think of it as Candy Land aha. Anyway, but I am trying to make that change. I want to consume healthier foods and more water and work out more to become more fit. On my blog you will see motivation to help you with getting fit/weightloss, nutrition information, and more!

How tall are you? 5’6

How much do you weigh? Currently, 108 pounds.

I am (weight) pounds & (height) feet tall, am I healthy? Most of the time, height and weight do not really determine your health, your doctor would be able to clarify more on that. You can be overweight but still be really healthy. Really depends on what you eat and your lifestyle.

Why did you make this blog? To promote being fit and healthy and for me to become more fit and healthy. I also want to use it to educate people on fitness, nutrition, etc.

How do you deal with binges? For you all who do not know, a binge is basically when you excessively overweight and fast too. If you binge, afterwards just go back to your normal routine. You cannot take back what you did, hopefully one experience will help you not to do it again. But it is good to treat yourself once in a while, but bingeing is just overdoing it a bit. After a binge, try drinking water or eating some fruits afterwards and rest.

How do I loose weight? I am making a little complete guide for weightloss, but in summary just eat healthy and exercise. There is no secret or magic trick to get rid of it, just hard work. It is worth it. Trust me.

I’m been eating healthier and exercising more, but I am not loosing any weight! Why? You probably hit a plateau, which is when your weight just basically stays the same. Your body has become use to the same routine of foods and exercise you are doing, so to get out of the plateau and see better results try switching things up. Try a different about of calories with a different workout to try to trick your body. If this is not the case, then it is probably just water weight which will go away in a few days.

What do you eat? Ever since I changed up my normal lifestyle to a healthy one, I have been buying healthier foods. I eat around 1200-1500 calories a day. My shopping list usually consists of: cucumbers, strawberries, blueberries, oranges, grapes, tomatoes, carrots, whole wheat bread, chives, rosemary, eggs, pistachios, almonds,  oatmeal, shrimp, granola bars, cabbage, turkey, salmon, strawberry smoothies, kellogs cereals, feta cheese, ice cream, cheddar cheese, stir fry, greek yogurt, raspberries, kiwi, roast beef, and thats all I can think of for now aha.

How often do you exercise? what exercises do you do? It varies, I like changing up my routine like everyday. Somedays its yoga and running, or sometimes its playing basketball or volleyball. Just what I feel like, sometimes it’s good to try something different.
