Before starting this blog I was the typical lazy binge all day teenager. Now, I am trying to change those horrible habits into having a healthy lifestyle. All About Metabolism

With metabolism, everyone is different. Metabolism is generally what breaks down all the food. Some people have fast metabolism, which could mean that they could eat a whole cake and not gain a thing! But for others, they have slow which might make them gain more from eating the same cake. Metabolism can be a tricky thing, so here is how you can actually trick it or boost it with some foods. How to trick your metabolism If you have or are trying to loose weight, you have most likely hit a plateau. A plateau occurs in weightloss typically, when your weight just stands still and you cannot seem to loose anything no matter how hard you try. This mainly has to do with metabolism. When loosing weight, your body has gotten use to what you are eating and has kind of already developed its routine if that makes any sense. So if you are following the same routine, eating about the same stuff and exercising for the same amount of time your body has all gotten use to it. To trick your metabolism, you can try switching your routine up a little bit. For example if you usually eat oatmeal or cereal every morning, try having a yogurt and some fruit another time, or just something you do not typically eat. Also try changing your exercise routine by maybe for example instead of being on the elliptical for however long, try running outside for a little bit longer (trust me, it makes a huge difference). The next day or few you should see a difference.
