Throughout the month of June, I have been noticing that my eating habits have kind of had their highs and lows. My little cousins have been over for 2 weeks and I have been teaching them how to bake and have been just giving in, I could not resist aha! Anyway, so that is why I have decided to try and eat healthy things mainly for the entire month of july, which will not only make me look good on my trip to the bahamas in august, but also help me live a healthier and cleaner lifestyle. After my cousins left this morning, I weighed myself and gained 4 pounds. It is not really that big of a deal, it is just the lifestyle I had I want to change.
I will try to keep track of eating a variety of vegetables and fruits, but as well as whole grain and foods that have protein in it. Something that helps me keep on track when I was was whenever I was hungry, I would grab some pistachios or crack off a little piece of a coconut. I typically have at the most 2 snacks in between meals each day, usually 1 though. I will be sure to keep you all updated in changes I have seen.
Setting goals can be so important for weightloss and can really help to motivate you to try your best. I recommend keeping a little calendar and cross off the days you have workout or ate healthy, and once you have reached your goal maybe try making another :)
